mindfulness and dissociation
When Anja K., married mother of 2 children and working as Procurement manager in a medium-sized company, began the coaching process, she was almost burned out. She had been suffering from sleep disturbance for many years and felt demotivated and frustrated which also affected her family. She had physical discomfort such as regular headache and backache.
Anja told me she found no time and energy to exercise regularly or otherwise take care of herself. She felt being always on duty on behalf of others, be it at work or for her family, since it was difficult for her to refuse. During our coaching sessions Anja discovered the power of mindfulness, dissociation, centering and taking good care of herself.
Anja’s situation became much better, but she also learned to pay more attention to her own needs going forward and to deal with future challenges. Anja continues with the coaching sessions on a regular basis to reflect and continue working on her resilience.
